Old Town

Old Town’s name is very fitting for this Chicago neighborhood because it has that small-town feel while boasting big city attractions. Second City Comedy Club and the Steppenwolf Theatre put this neighborhood on the map, but its renowned restaurants, popular bars and proximity to beaches and shopping are what make it an ideal place to live for many Chicagoans. Its famous art fair held every June, as well as other summer festivals, draw more than just the locals. Old Town runs from North to Division and Clark to Larrabee.

Quick Facts
Old Town is home to one of the nation’s oldest continuous Art Fairs, running since 1950.

In 1977, the Old Town Triangle area was designated a Chicago Landmark District.
